Turkey Noodle Soup
Ingredients
- Onion 5 oz
- Carrot 10 oz
- Garlic 4 cloves
- Celery stalk 10 oz
- Salt to taste
- Ground Black Pepper to taste
- Egg noodles for wok 5 oz
- Chicken Broth 6 glasses
- Soy Sauce 1 tablespoon
- Bay leaf 1 piece
- Chicken fillet 10 oz
- Vegetable Oil to taste
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Heat a large pot over medium heat and add a little vegetable oil. Add finely chopped carrots and onions, along with minced garlic, and sauté until golden brown for about 5 minutes. Add finely chopped celery and 0.25 teaspoons each of salt and pepper. Sauté for another 3 minutes, then add the broth, noodles, soy sauce, and bay leaf. Bring to a boil, reduce the heat, and simmer for 5 minutes.
Step 2
Add the finely chopped turkey and cook for another 3-5 minutes until the bird is cooked through. Remove the bay leaf and, if desired, sprinkle the soup with freshly ground black pepper.
