Truffle Chocolate Eggs
Ingredients
- Liquid dark chocolate 10 oz
- Ground Almonds 5 oz
- Powdered Sugar 5 oz
- Egg white 1 piece
- White Chocolate 5 oz
- Pastry decorations to taste
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Melt 110 grams of dark chocolate in a bowl over a water bath, stirring constantly until smooth. Stir in the sugar, almonds, and lightly beaten egg white. Mix gently.
Step 2
Take a small amount of the mixture, about the size of a walnut, and shape it into small eggs. Place them on a baking sheet lined with plastic wrap.
Step 3
Melt the remaining white and dark chocolate in separate bowls over a water bath. Cool for 5 minutes.
Step 4
Pierce an egg with a fork and dip it in the white chocolate, then place it on the plastic wrap. Dip another egg in the dark chocolate. Half of a third egg in white, and the other half in dark. Continue this process.
Step 5
With the remaining chocolate, gently drizzle over the eggs for contrast and sprinkle with silver balls. Leave at room temperature for a while.
