Tomato Soup
Ingredients
- Chicken Broth 15 fl oz
- Potato protein 1 tablespoon
- Spiced Tomato Juice 15 fl oz
- Medium-dry sherry 2 tablespoons
- Parsley 3 stems
- Cream 4 tablespoons
- Salt to taste
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Pour the broth into a large pot and heat it. Mix the starch with two tablespoons of water in a cup until there are no lumps, then add the liquid to the broth. Cook, stirring, for 2 minutes.
Step 2
Shake the tomato juice well and pour it into the broth, then stir in the sherry and salt to taste. Heat slowly, but do not let it boil.
Step 3
If serving the soup hot, pour it into warmed bowls. Add a tablespoon of lightly whipped cream and some finely chopped parsley to each.
Step 4
If serving the soup cold, use slightly less starch. Let the soup cool and stand in the refrigerator. Garnish with cream and parsley before serving.
