Tomato and Bean Soup
Ingredients
- Onion 1 piece
- White Beans 1 can
- Crushed Tomatoes in Their Own Juice 1 can
- Carrot 1 piece
- Cilantro 1 bunch
- Garlic 3 cloves
- Salt to taste
- Khmeli-suneli 1 tablespoon
- Ground Black Pepper to taste
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Finely chop the onion, carrot, and garlic. Heat oil in a pot and sauté the onion, carrot, and garlic. It's best to use a can of diced tomatoes. If using whole tomatoes, chop them up.
Step 2
Add the tomatoes (along with the juice from the can) and the beans to the pot. Dilute with water to achieve the desired consistency. Bring to a boil and cook for another ten minutes. At the very end, add chopped cilantro, khmeli-suneli, salt, and pepper.
