Ingredients
- Chicken Broth 0 qt
- Galangal 0 oz
- Lime 2 pieces
- Chili jam 2 tablespoons
- Fresh Mushrooms 5 oz
- Mild Chili Spice 1 piece
- Cilantro 3 stems
- Shrimp 20 oz
- Kaffir Lime Leaves 7 pieces
- Fish Oil 4 tablespoons
- Lemongrass 2 stems
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
First of all, we need chicken broth. You can make it from chicken, but you can also use chicken cubes. Usually, 2 cubes per liter of water. Bring the broth to a boil.
Step 2
Meanwhile, prepare the first batch of spices. Wash and slice the lemongrass and galangal. Take the kaffir lime leaves and add them along with the galangal and lemongrass to the broth. Bring the broth back to a boil. Then add the mushrooms, fish sauce, and chili paste. Finally, add the peeled shrimp, sliced chili pepper, and squeeze in the lime. Once the shrimp turn pink, the soup is ready! When serving, add cilantro to the soup.
