Thick Bean Soup with Noodles

Ingredients

  • Red Beans 1 cup
  • Onion 1 piece
  • Wheat Flour 2 tablespoons
  • Butter to taste
  • Noodles to taste
  • Khmeli-suneli to taste
  • Salt to taste
  • Dill ½ bunch
  • Garlic 1 clove
  • Black Pepper to taste

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

Soak the beans overnight. Then rinse and cook on low heat.

Step 2

Chop the onion into small cubes and sauté in butter until soft.

Step 3

Add 1–2 tablespoons of flour to the onion and lightly fry.

Step 4

Dilute the flour with cold water, stir until smooth, and add the mixture to the beans.

Step 5

Add water as desired and cook until the beans are done. The consistency should be a thick soup.

Step 6

Add the noodles 15 minutes before it's done.

Step 7

Add khmeli-suneli and salt to taste.

Step 8

After turning off the heat, let it steep for about 15 minutes.

Step 9

For serving, finely chop the dill and garlic.
