Thai Roti Pancakes with Banana

Ingredients

  • Wheat Flour 10 oz
  • Bananas 1 piece
  • Water 10 fl oz
  • Chicken Egg 1 piece
  • Salt 1 teaspoon
  • Sweetened Condensed Milk with Coffee to taste

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

Sift the flour and add salt. Add the egg and gradually pour in the water, kneading the dough until it becomes elastic.

Step 2

Cover the dough with plastic wrap and place it in the refrigerator for 1 hour.

Step 3

Heat a wide skillet with butter.

Step 4

Divide the dough into balls the size of a plum. You can roll the ball with a rolling pin to make a flatbread, or, as I do, wet the ball with water and stretch it into a thin pancake.

Step 5

Place the pancake in the skillet, sprinkle it with chopped banana, and fold the pancake into an envelope. If the dough inside the envelope is not cooked, flip it over and hold it in the skillet for a few more seconds.

Step 6

Drizzle the finished envelope with sweetened condensed milk or chocolate and make small cuts on top.
