Tender Vanilla Cake
Ingredients
- Farm fresh eggs 4 pieces
- Sugar 5 oz
- Wheat Flour 5 oz
- Water 1 tablespoon
- Salt a pinch
- Vanillin to taste
- Butter 5 oz
- Milk 15 fl oz
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Separate the egg whites from the yolks and beat them until stiff with a pinch of salt.
Step 2
Beat the yolks with sugar and water, then add 250 ml of milk, followed by another 250 ml.
Step 3
Then melt the butter and let it cool slightly.
Step 4
Pour the butter into the yolk mixture and beat again.
Step 5
Next, add the flour in three equal parts, beating thoroughly each time.
Step 6
Add the vanillin.
Step 7
Gently fold in the egg whites using a top-down motion.
Step 8
Grease the baking pan with butter and dust with flour. IMPORTANT: the pan should not be a springform.
Step 9
Bake in the oven for 40–60 minutes. The cake should be golden brown on top, and the inside should jiggle slightly.
