
Tender Pie with Mandarins and Bananas

Ingredients
- Wheat Flour 10 oz
- Sugar 5 oz
- Butter 5 oz
- Farm fresh eggs 4 pieces
- Apple 1 piece
- Bananas 2 pieces
- Mandarins 3 pieces
- Baking Powder 1 teaspoon
- Vanilla salt a pinch
- Powdered Sugar to taste
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Combine sugar, flour, baking powder, and vanilla together.
Step 2
Beat the eggs and mix well.
Step 3
Melt the butter in a water bath and pour it into the dough while stirring constantly.
Step 4
Grate 1 large peeled apple and incorporate it into the dough.
Step 5
Slice the bananas and mandarins into rounds (do not separate the mandarins into segments).
Step 6
Sprinkle the mandarins with powdered sugar and let sit for 2 minutes.
Step 7
Spread a third of the dough in a greased baking pan, followed by a layer of bananas. Then another layer of dough and a layer of mandarins. Cover everything with the remaining dough.
Step 8
Bake at 355°F for about 40 minutes.
Step 9
Before serving, dust with powdered sugar.
