Tender Peanut Fudge
Ingredients
- Sugar 2 cups
- Light Corn Syrup 2 tablespoons
- Milk ¾ cup
- Salt a pinch
- Vanilla extract 1 teaspoon
- Peanut Butter 5 oz
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Grease a 20x20 cm (8x8 inch) square pan with butter.
Step 2
In a saucepan, combine sugar, corn syrup, milk, and a pinch of salt. Bring to a boil, reduce heat, and cook until the mixture reaches 240°F (239 degrees Fahrenheit), until it becomes caramel.
Step 3
Remove from heat and add vanilla and peanut butter. Mix well.
Step 4
Transfer the mixture to a bowl and beat until it starts to thicken.
Step 5
Pour the mixture into the prepared pan and let it set.
Step 6
Cut into rectangles.
