Ingredients
- "Toplenoe Milk Cookies" 10 oz
- Butter 5 oz
- Cottage cheese 15 oz
- Condensed Milk 10 oz
- Wheat Flour 2 tablespoons
- Chicken Egg 1 piece
- Meyer Lemon Juice 0 fl oz
- Egg white 2 pieces
- Sugar ½ cup
- Vanillin to taste
- Lemon ½ piece
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
In a food processor (blender), crush the cookies into crumbs, add melted butter, mix, and press into the bottom and sides of a baking dish, then refrigerate.
Step 2
Using a mixer, combine the cottage cheese, condensed milk, egg, flour, and zest, then pour in the lemon juice and mix until combined.
Step 3
Pour the mixture into the cookie crust and bake in a preheated oven at 355°F for 30 minutes.
Step 4
For the meringue, beat the egg whites with sugar at maximum speed until stiff peaks form.
Step 5
Spread the meringue over the cottage cheese layer and bake at 355°F for 7–10 minutes, or until the meringue is golden brown.
Step 6
Allow to cool.
