Ingredients

  • Chicken Egg 1 piece
  • Salt 1 teaspoon
  • Vegetable Oil 2 tablespoons
  • Baking Powder 1 teaspoon
  • Wheat Flour 25 oz
  • Sugar to taste
  • Apple 4 pieces

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

Mix kefir, egg, salt, oil, flour, and baking powder to make a soft dough. Let it rest for 30–40 minutes.

Step 2

Peel the apples, slice them into rounds, and remove the cores. Drizzle with lemon juice to prevent browning. Roll out half of the dough, place the apple rings on it, leaving 1 cm of space between them.

Step 3

Sprinkle sugar and cinnamon (optional) in the center of the apples. Roll out the second half of the dough and cover the dough with apples.

Step 4

Use a glass (slightly larger in diameter than the apples) to cut out the pies. Fry the pies in vegetable oil on both sides. Place the finished pies on a paper towel to absorb excess oil. They can be served hot or cold with powdered sugar.
