Ingredients
- Butter 5 oz
- Wheat Flour 15 oz
- Sugar 5 oz
- Farm fresh eggs 4 pieces
- Salt 1 teaspoon
- Apricot Jam to taste
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Grate the cold butter into crumbs with the flour, add sugar and salt.
Step 2
Separate the yolks from the whites, set the whites aside, and add the yolks to the butter crumb mixture to knead the dough.
Step 3
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Step 4
Roll the dough into balls the size of walnuts and place them on the baking sheet.
Step 5
Slightly flatten each ball, make an indentation with your finger, and fill this indentation with jam. Brush the cookies with egg white. Bake in a preheated oven at 355°F for 20 minutes.
