Ingredients
- Sour Cream 5 oz
- Butter 10 oz
- Sugar 1 cup
- Farm fresh eggs 2 pieces
- Wheat Flour 3 cups
- Jam to taste
- Activated Baking Soda 1½ teaspoons
- Dried Apricots to taste
- Apple 1 piece
- Nuts to taste
- Raisins to taste
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Dissolve the baking soda in the sour cream and let it sit for 10–15 minutes. In the meantime, beat the butter with sugar and eggs. Combine the two mixtures with the flour.
Step 2
Grease the baking dish with butter and dust with flour. Pour in the batter and bake for 40–50 minutes in a well-preheated oven.
Step 3
Mix any jam with the apples, nuts, and raisins. Once the cake has cooled, spread the mixture on top.
