Ingredients
- Wheat Flour 5 oz
- Butter 5 oz
- Vanillin to taste
- Salt a pinch
- Powdered Sugar 0 oz
- 10% cream 5 fl oz
- Mascarpone Cheese Unagrande 5 oz
- Citrus Zest Mix to taste
- Fresh Berries to taste
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Mix all the ingredients for the dough: flour, butter, 30 g of powdered sugar, vanillin, salt, and mash with a fork into fine crumbs. Then knead the dough by hand until smooth, divide it in half, and form 2 equal balls. Let rest for 5 minutes and roll out into discs the size of the forms, considering the edges. Place in prepared forms, cover with plastic wrap, and refrigerate for 30–40 minutes.
Step 2
Bake the crusts at 355°F for 20–25 minutes until done. Cool, then carefully remove from the forms.
Step 3
For the filling, whip the cream to soft peaks, add the mascarpone, the remaining powdered sugar, finely grated lemon zest, and gently mix until smooth.
Step 4
Fill the cooled crusts with the cream and decorate the tartlets with berries. Chill before serving.
