Description
If you replace liquid yogurt with thick yogurt, add a bit of lemon juice and chopped mint to the listed ingredients, you will get a wonderful dip sauce called tzatziki, loved by many.
Ingredients
- Sour Cream 5 oz
- Natural Yogurt 0 qt
- Cucumbers 5 pieces
- Garlic 3 cloves
- Dill to taste
- Olive Oil 2 tablespoons
- Walnuts 5 oz
- Salt to taste
- White Pepper (whole) to taste
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
In a bowl, mix the yogurt (or kefir) and sour cream with a small amount of chilled boiled water until you reach a medium thickness.
Step 2
Add the dill, olive oil, salt, pepper, and squeeze in the garlic.
Step 3
Whisk thoroughly with a fork or whisk.
Step 4
Cut the cucumbers into thin strips and add them to the prepared dairy mixture.
Step 5
Place in the refrigerator for a couple of hours to infuse.
