Sweet Stuffed Pies
Ingredients
- Chicken Egg 3 pieces
- Milk 15 fl oz
- Wheat Flour 20 oz
- Dry yeast 0 oz
- Sugar 5 oz
- Fresh Berries to taste
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Mix 2 eggs, 5 tablespoons of sugar, milk, and yeast with a mixer.
Step 2
Add flour until the dough reaches a thick and sticky consistency. Stir by hand for a long time for more fluffiness. Add 2 handfuls of vegetable oil and continue mixing until homogeneous.
Step 3
Place the dough in a warm place to rise for 1 hour. After half the time has passed, stir the dough to release excess carbon dioxide and saturate it with oxygen.
Step 4
Generously sprinkle a cutting board with flour, place the dough on it, divide it into small portions (about 2/3 of a fist), and roll them into balls.
Step 5
Roll each dough ball into a flat circle, place a tablespoon of berries or chopped fruits in the center, and sprinkle with a teaspoon of sugar. Fold into an envelope shape and place on a baking sheet greased with vegetable oil (it's better to space the pies apart as they will increase in size by 1.5–2 times).
Step 6
Beat 1 egg in a glass, soak a piece of cheesecloth or cloth in it, and brush the pies for a golden crust.
Step 7
Bake at 180–390°F for about 30–40 minutes until done.
Step 8
Brush the finished pies with sweet water and cover.
