Ingredients
- Orange Bell Peppers 5 lbs
- Water 0 qt
- Sugar 5 oz
- Salt 0 oz
- Lemon-Pepper Mix 1 teaspoon
- Vinegar essence 5 fl oz
- Safflower Oil 5 fl oz
- Garlic 0 oz
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Prepare the necessary ingredients. Wash the vegetables thoroughly under running water.
Step 2
Wash and sterilize five 0.5-liter jars well.
Step 3
Thoroughly rinse the sweet peppers and remove the seeds.
Step 4
Cut into approximately eight pieces.
Step 5
In a pot, pour in 1 liter of water. Add 200 grams of sugar, 60 grams of salt, and 1 teaspoon of pepper mix.
Step 6
Pour 200 ml of sunflower oil into the pot and place it on the heat.
Step 7
When the marinade comes to a boil, add 150 ml of vinegar.
Step 8
Place the prepared peppers into the boiling marinade.
Step 9
Add the peeled and julienned garlic to the peppers and cook for another 10 minutes.
Step 10
Distribute the peppers into the jars. Bring the marinade back to a boil and pour it over the peppers in the jars.
Step 11
Seal the jars or screw on the lids. Turn them upside down to ensure they are sealed. Cover with a warm blanket or towel until completely cool.
