Sweet Khinkali with Pumpkin and Pear
Ingredients
- Pears 5 oz
- Sugar 0 oz
- Salt 0 oz
- Pumpkin 5 oz
- Wheat Flour 10 oz
- Water 5 fl oz
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Sift the flour onto a work surface, make a well in the center, add water and salt. Knead a firm, elastic dough. Cover the dough and place it in a cool place.
Step 2
Cut the pumpkin into small, equal pieces and bake in a preheated oven at 390°F until cooked, about 1 hour.
Step 3
Peel the pear and cut it into equal pieces, then bake in the oven for 40 minutes.
Step 4
Mash the cooked pumpkin and pear with a fork until smooth, then mix together and add sugar.
Step 5
Roll the dough into a sausage shape and cut it into equal pieces, about 40 g each.
Step 6
Roll each piece into a thin round shape the size of a saucer.
Step 7
Place 50 g of filling on each round. Shape the khinkali and boil for 5–7 minutes.
