Description

This recipe yields 14 balls. Store in the refrigerator. Chokladbollars can be kept in the freezer as well. You can substitute coffee with orange juice or water.

Ingredients

  • Sugar 2 glasses
  • Butter 5 oz
  • Vanilla salt 1½ spoons
  • Cocoa Powder 4½ spoons
  • Coconut flakes 1 glass
  • Instant Oatmeal 3½ glasses
  • Instant coffee 3 spoons

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

Wait for the butter to reach room temperature.

Step 2

Beat the butter with the sugar using a mixer (or mix well by hand).

Step 3

Add vanilla sugar and cocoa powder, and mix well.

Step 4

Add the oats, previously blended in a blender, to the mixture. Also, add the coffee (if using instant coffee, dissolve 2–3 teaspoons in 2 tablespoons of hot water). Mix well.

Step 5

Roll the mixture into balls (using a heaping tablespoon for each ball) and coat them in shredded coconut. Chill before serving.
