Super Chocolate Cookies
Ingredients
- Wheat Flour 5 oz
- 70% Dark Chocolate 10 oz
- Walnuts 5 oz
- Dried cranberries with sugar 5 oz
- Butter 5 oz
- Sugar 10 oz
- Chicken Egg 3 pieces
- Vanilla extract 1 tablespoon
- Baking Powder 0 oz
- Salt 0 oz
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Toast the nuts in a preheated oven at 355°F for 10–13 minutes. Then, let them cool and chop coarsely.
Step 2
Sift the flour, baking powder, and salt into a bowl.
Step 3
Chop the chocolate into pieces, place them in a bowl, and melt in the microwave in 10-second bursts, stirring the mixture in between.
Step 4
Beat the softened butter and sugar together at high speed with a mixer until fluffy.
Step 5
Add the eggs one at a time to the butter, beating the mixture until smooth each time. Then, continue to beat the mixture on high speed for another 3 minutes.
Step 6
Add the vanilla extract, chocolate, and mix well.
Step 7
Add the flour mixture and mix into the chocolate batter on low speed.
Step 8
Gently fold the nuts and cranberries into the dough using a spatula.
Step 9
Drop heaping tablespoons of dough onto a baking sheet, spaced 4–5 cm apart.
Step 10
Bake the cookies in a preheated oven at 355°F for 14 to 16 minutes. They should firm up at the edges, crack slightly, but remain soft in the center.
