Sundae with Hot Chocolate Sauce and Raspberries
Ingredients
- Sugar ¾ cup
- Milk ¼ cup
- Cream ¼ cup
- Liquid dark chocolate 5 oz
- Light Corn Syrup 2 tablespoons
- Butter 1 tablespoon
- Salt a pinch
- Raspberry Puree 2 tablespoons
- Vanilla Ice Cream to taste
- Raspberry leaves to taste
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Combine sugar, milk, cream, chopped chocolate, corn syrup, butter, and salt in a small saucepan and place over low heat. Stir until the sugar and chocolate dissolve and the mixture is smooth, about 4 minutes. Remove from heat and add raspberry purée.
Step 2
Pour 1 tablespoon of sauce into each sundae dish or glass, top with 2 scoops of ice cream, and drizzle with 3 tablespoons of sauce. Sprinkle with raspberries and serve immediately.
