
Sun-Dried Tomatoes with Garlic and Thyme

Description
You can use any tomatoes, preferably a variety of different kinds.
Ingredients
- Tomatoes 20 oz
- Olive Oil 5 fl oz
- Garlic 2 cloves
- Thyme to taste
- Sugar to taste
- Salt to taste
- Ground Black Pepper to taste
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Blanch the tomatoes in boiling water, then transfer them to cold water and peel off the skins. Cut the large tomatoes into wedges and the small ones in half.
Step 2
Dress the chopped tomatoes with olive oil and sugar.
Step 3
Place on a baking sheet drizzled with oil, add a few slices of garlic and sprigs of thyme, and transfer to a dehydrator for 3 hours or to an oven preheated to 160°F for 6 hours.
