Ingredients
- Wheat Flour 1 cup
- Baking Powder 1 teaspoon
- Butter 5 oz
- Sugar 1 cup
- Vanilla salt 1 tablespoon
- Farm fresh eggs 4 pieces
- Meyer Lemon Juice 3 tablespoons
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Separate the whites and yolks of two eggs. Cream the softened butter with 1/2 cup of sugar and vanilla sugar, then gradually add the yolks and whole eggs while beating, followed by the flour mixed with baking powder.
Step 2
Whip the egg whites until frothy, then continue whipping while adding the remaining sugar and lemon juice. Combine with the flour mixture and knead until a uniform batter forms.
Step 3
Pour the batter into a greased baking pan and bake the cake in the oven for 1 hour at 355°F. Leave the cake in the turned-off oven for 10 minutes.
