Ingredients
- Wheat Flour 10 oz
- Milk 5 fl oz
- Chocolate eggs 2 pieces
- Dry yeast 0 oz
- Vanillin 1 teaspoon
- Cream 22% 5 fl oz
- Sugar 5 oz
- Butter 0 oz
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Add vanilla sugar and yeast to warm milk and let it sit for 10 minutes to activate the yeast.
Step 2
When bubbles appear on the surface, add 2 eggs and softened butter, and whisk together.
Step 3
Sift the flour and mix with a spoon (the dough will be thick and sticky).
Step 4
Cover with a towel and let it rise for 1 hour. After an hour, it will increase in size by three times.
Step 5
Punch down the dough and transfer it to a greased rectangular baking dish, and let it rise for another 30 minutes.
Step 6
Now, poke holes in the pie with your finger (grease your finger with vegetable oil to prevent sticking).
Step 7
In a separate bowl, rub the sugar and butter together until crumbly.
Step 8
Spread the mixture over the pie and bake in a preheated oven at 355°F for 35 minutes.
Step 9
Then remove and pour hot cream over the pie and bake for another 5–7 minutes.
