Stuffed Dumplings
Ingredients
- Walnuts to taste
- Salt to taste
- Hard Cheese to taste
- Olives stuffed with lemon to taste
- Olive Oil to taste
- Passata Tomato Sauce to taste
- Pesto to taste
- Olive Oil 4 tablespoons
- Wheat Flour 20 oz
- Water 10 fl oz
- Dry yeast 0 oz
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Rub the yeast into the flour until a homogeneous crumb forms. Add salt, then water. Knead the dough for 2-3 minutes until it starts to come together. Leave it for 1 hour to rise.
Step 2
Place the dough on a floured surface. Divide it into 5 parts and roll each into a stick.
Step 3
Divide each stick in half, then cut each half into 3 pieces. Roll each piece into a tight, smooth ball. Arrange the balls on a lightly oiled baking sheet. Leave for 15 minutes.
Step 4
Dip your finger in flour and make indentations in the center of each dumpling. Fill with various fillings: tomato paste, pesto, olives, cheese, or nuts.
Step 5
Spray the oven with water and place the baking sheet with dumplings inside. Reduce the temperature to 430°F and bake for 8-10 minutes.
Step 6
Remove from the oven and let cool slightly. Brush the crust with olive oil.
