Strudel with Banana and Mandarins
Ingredients
- Sugar 4 teaspoons
- Ground Cinnamon 2 teaspoons
- Vanillin a pinch
- Semolina 2 teaspoons
- Mandarins 2 pieces
- Beans 1 piece
- Puff Pastry 1 piece
- Citrus Zest Mix 1 teaspoon
- Chicken Egg 1 piece
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Slice the banana into 'petals' using a vegetable peeler. Peel the mandarins and cut each segment in half.
Step 2
Roll out the pastry into a thin layer (about 3 mm) in a rectangle.
Step 3
Arrange the fruits closely together, leaving a little space at the edges. Evenly sprinkle with semolina (to absorb excess juice), two teaspoons of sugar, cinnamon, vanillin, and lemon zest. Roll into a log and tightly pinch the ends.
Step 4
Brush the log with the egg beaten with the remaining sugar.
Step 5
Place in a preheated oven and bake at 345°F for 30 minutes.
