Strawberry Mousse with Egg Whites
Baking and Desserts • British
Description
This mousse can be made from cherries, after pitting them, or from wild strawberries.

- Strawberry 5 oz
- Powdered Sugar 5 oz
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Place the egg whites, sugar, and sorted, washed, and dried strawberries in a bowl. Whisk for at least 20 minutes. Initially, the mixture will release juice, then it will start to thicken and finally turn into a foam, similar to well-beaten egg whites.
Step 2
Transfer the mousse to a compote dish and place it on ice for 1–2 hours.
Step 3
Before serving, garnish with selected strawberries.
