Strawberries with Sabayon Cream
Ingredients
- Strawberry 15 oz
- Egg white 3 pieces
- Grand Marnier Liqueur 3 tablespoons
- Water 2 tablespoons
- Sugar 1½ tablespoons
- Sour Cream 1 tablespoon
- Fresh Mint 2 sprigs
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Slice the strawberries thinly and arrange them in 2 wine glasses or 2 dessert bowls.
Step 2
Whisk the egg yolks and mix with the liqueur, water, and sugar. Place over a double boiler, continuing to whisk until the mixture thickens, about 2-3 minutes. Remove from heat and whisk for another minute. Fold in the sour cream.
Step 3
Pour the warm cream over the strawberries and garnish with mint sprigs or any fresh berries. Serve immediately.
