Description

Strawberries in Ricotta Cream

Ingredients

  • Strawberry 5 oz
  • Ricotta cheese 5 oz
  • Milk 4 tablespoons
  • Powdered Sugar ¼ cup
  • Pastry decorations to taste

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

Rinse the strawberries well and dry them with a paper towel (it is very important that the berries are dry!).

Step 2

In a bowl, use a mixer to beat the ricotta with the powdered sugar. Then add 1 tablespoon of milk at a time (you will need 2–4 tablespoons of milk, depending on the fat content of the ricotta) until you reach a consistency that allows you to easily dip the strawberries, but the cream should not run off.

Step 3

On a plate, place the decorative toppings (small balls of different colors work best).

Step 4

Holding the berries by the stems, dip them in the cream, then roll them in the decorative toppings.

Step 5

Arrange on a serving dish and refrigerate for a while.
