Ingredients

  • Sugar 1 tablespoon
  • Salt a pinch
  • Activated Baking Soda 1 tablespoon
  • Chicken Egg 2 pieces
  • Milk 1 glass
  • Kefir 15 fl oz
  • Vegetable Oil 2 spoons
  • Wheat Flour 0,2 glasses

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

Pour the kefir into a pot and gently warm it up (it should be warm, but not hot), then add the eggs, baking soda, salt, and sugar — mix everything together. Add flour gradually until the mixture resembles thick sour cream, and stir thoroughly to avoid any lumps!

Step 2

Turn off the heat and remove the pot, as the flour may stick to the bottom while stirring. Bring the milk to a boil and pour it in a thin stream into the mixture, stirring constantly (a whisk works best) — this is how we cook the dough. If the dough turns out too runny, add a little flour. If it’s too thick (which shouldn't happen), add more milk. Add 1–2 tablespoons of vegetable oil to the mixture.

Step 3

Spread the cooked pancakes with butter.
