Steamed Lemon Pudding
Ingredients
- Butter 5 oz
- Pudding 0 oz
- Powdered Sugar 5 oz
- Farm fresh eggs 3 pieces
- Lemon ½ piece
- Wheat Flour 5 oz
- Baking Powder 2 teaspoons
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Grease six 200 ml ramekins with butter and place a spoonful of prepared lemon pudding in each.
Step 2
Beat the butter with the powdered sugar. Add the eggs, lemon zest, and lemon juice, and mix well. Gently fold the mixture into the flour combined with baking powder.
Step 3
Spoon the batter into the ramekins, cover with parchment paper, wrap the ramekins in foil, and place them on a baking sheet. Pour water into the baking sheet until it reaches halfway up the sides of the ramekins.
Step 4
Cook for 40 minutes, until the pudding is set in the middle.
Step 5
Remove the pudding from the oven and let it sit for 10 minutes. Extract it from the ramekins.
Step 6
Serve with custard.
