Square Banana Pudding
Ingredients
- Puff Pastry 15 oz
- Vanilla Protein Powder 1 package
- Bananas 4 pieces
- Banana Pudding Powder 1 package
- Sugar 12 tablespoons
- Milk 0 qt
- Sugar Glaze 0 oz
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Thaw the puff pastry as instructed on the package, preheat the oven to 345°F. Roll out the pastry so that it is twice the size of the intended pudding. Cut it in half with a knife and place one half on a baking sheet, previously greased with butter.
Step 2
Take 4 ripe bananas, peel them, and cut them in half lengthwise. Then cut the halves into small slices.
Step 3
Lay the banana slices on top of the pastry.
Step 4
Prepare the vanilla and banana pudding according to the instructions on the package and mix them together.
Step 5
Pour the mixture over the layer of bananas on the baking sheet. Use a spoon to spread it evenly so that it covers all the banana pieces.
Step 6
Cover with another layer of pastry. To allow steam to escape, poke holes in the pastry with a fork. Before placing the baking sheet in the oven, place aluminum foil underneath it: the pudding often rises out of the baking sheet.
Step 7
Bake for 35–40 minutes, then remove the baking sheet from the oven and let it cool. Sprinkle with confectioners' sugar on top, and cut into squares. Store the pudding in the refrigerator.
