Sponge cake with white and dark chocolate
Ingredients
- Egg white 6 pieces
- Sugar 1 cup
- Wheat Flour 1 cup
- Vinegar essence to taste
- Activated Baking Soda 1 teaspoon
- Natural Yogurt to taste
- Honey to taste
- Liquid dark chocolate 5 oz
- White Chocolate 10 oz
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Break the eggs into a tall bowl, add sugar, and beat with a mixer for 2–3 minutes. Add the baking soda, dissolved in vinegar.
Step 2
Then gradually add the sifted flour, gently mixing with a spoon.
Step 3
Bake the sponge cake in a silicone mold (you can lightly grease it with oil if you're worried about sticking) in a preheated oven at 355°F for 50–60 minutes.
Step 4
Meanwhile, whip the yogurt with honey. Remove the sponge cake from the oven, let it cool slightly, and cut it in half. Spread cream on it.
Step 5
Then melt the white chocolate in a water bath (one bar was not enough for me, so it's better to take 2 or 3). Optionally, you can add a bit of cream. Cover the cake with white chocolate, then do the same with the dark chocolate and decorate the cake with it.
