Ingredients
- Sugar 5 oz
- Wheat Flour 5 oz
- Chocolate eggs 4 pieces
- Baking Powder 0 oz
- Vanillin 0 oz
- Salt a pinch
- Powdered Sugar to taste
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Separate the egg whites from the yolks.
Step 2
Add the cup of sugar to the yolks and beat with a mixer until fluffy and white.
Step 3
Add a pinch of salt to the previously chilled egg whites.
Step 4
Whip the egg whites until stiff peaks form.
Step 5
Gently combine the egg whites with the yolk and sugar mixture.
Step 6
Sift the flour into the mixture.
Step 7
Add the teaspoon of baking powder.
Step 8
Add half a teaspoon of vanillin.
Step 9
Carefully fold the flour into the batter, stirring with a silicone spatula from the bottom up.

Grease the bottom and sides of the multicooker bowl with butter.

Bake the sponge cake on the 'Baking' mode for 50 minutes.

After baking, do not open the multicooker lid immediately; let it sit for 10 minutes. Check if the center is baked through. The finished sponge cake should be porous and not wet.

Remove the sponge cake using a steaming container. Place it in the bowl and turn it over.

Allow the sponge cake to cool.

The finished sponge cake can be decorated with powdered sugar and served immediately or cut into layers and soaked with cream.
