Sponge Cake Batter with Butter

You can add anything you like to this batter: from various spices to candied fruits and chocolate. It is also suitable for making muffins.
Ingredients
- Wheat Flour 5 oz
- Sugar 5 oz
- Butter 5 oz
- Farm fresh eggs 4 pieces
- Baking Powder 1 teaspoon
- Vanillin 0 oz
- Milk to taste
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Beat the eggs, gradually adding the sugar. Whip until light and frothy.
Step 2
Sift the flour.
Step 3
Gradually add the sifted flour to the whipped eggs with sugar in portions.
Step 4
Melt the butter. While it is melting, add the vanillin and baking powder to the batter, sifting them in. Mix thoroughly.
Step 5
Prepare the baking pan. Grease it with butter. Pour the remaining melted butter into the batter and mix.
Step 6
Preheat the oven. I have an electric oven, so I set it to both top and bottom heat at 390°F.
Step 7
Pour the batter into the prepared pan and place it in the preheated oven.
Step 8
Bake for about 45-50 minutes.
Step 9
To check the readiness of the sponge cake, pierce it with a wooden stick.
