Ingredients

  • Sugar 2 spoons
  • Salt 1½ spoons
  • Dry yeast 0 oz
  • Wheat Flour 15 oz
  • Milk 10 fl oz
  • Butter 0 oz
  • Chicken Egg 1 piece

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

Melt the butter with the milk in a saucepan.

Step 2

In a bowl, mix together the flour, yeast, sugar, and salt.

Step 3

Gradually add the contents of the bowl to the saucepan.

Roll the dough into a ball.

Step 5

Grease a bowl with butter or margarine, place the dough inside, cover it, and leave it in a warm place for half an hour.

Step 6

Cut the dough into 12 equal pieces, roll each piece into strips about 30 cm long, and twist each strip into a spiral.

Step 7

Beat the egg with 1 teaspoon of water and brush the mixture over the rolls.

Step 8

Place on a greased baking sheet and bake in the oven at 375°F until cooked through.
