Spinach and Sorrel Soup
Ingredients
- Spinach 5 oz
- Sorrel 5 oz
- Carrot 1 piece
- Onion 1 piece
- Potato 2 pieces
- Chicken Egg 1 piece
- Parsley to taste
- Dill to taste
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Bring the broth to a boil, meanwhile sauté the onion in sunflower oil until it becomes translucent and golden. Transfer it to the hot broth.
Step 2
Separately, sauté the grated carrot and add it to the broth. Cut the potato into cubes and add it to the pot. Season with salt to taste.
Step 3
When the vegetables have cooked for a little while, add the chopped sorrel, spinach, and herbs. Cook until done.
Step 4
At the last moment, crack the egg into a separate bowl, whisk it, and quickly pour it into the broth while stirring. After a minute or two, remove from heat. Serve with sour cream.
