Description

  • Bran 5 oz
  • Salt 0 oz
  • Baking Powder 0 oz
  • Activated Baking Soda 0 oz
  • Ground Cinnamon 0 oz
  • Ground Nutmeg 0 oz
  • Grated Ginger Root ¼ teaspoon
  • Walnuts 5 oz
  • Desiccated coconut 0 oz
  • Chocolate eggs 3 pieces
  • Sugar 15 oz
  • Courgette 5 oz
  • Carrot 5 oz
  • Vegetable Oil 10 fl oz
  • Water 10 fl oz

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

Sift the flour, add baking powder, baking soda, and spices.

Step 2

Add bran, nuts, and coconut and mix.

Step 3

Mix the eggs and sugar until smooth, but do not whip into a foam.

Step 4

Add the grated vegetables, oil, salt, and water.

Step 5

Combine the egg mixture and the dry ingredients and mix until smooth. The batter may seem too liquid, but the bran will absorb most of the moisture during baking.

Step 6

Fill the baking molds two-thirds full.

Step 7

Bake at 390°F for about 30 minutes.
