Spicy Nuts with Garlic and Ginger
Ingredients
- Nuts 20 oz
- Garlic 7 cloves
- Brown Sugar 1 tablespoon
- Grated Ginger Root to taste
- Soy Sauce 4 tablespoons
- Vegetable Oil to taste
- Paprika to taste
- Salt to taste
- Ground Black Pepper to taste
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Spread the nuts on a baking sheet and roast in a preheated oven at 320°F for 10 minutes. Peel the garlic and ginger, and grate them finely.
Step 2
Mix the soy sauce, ginger, garlic, paprika, sugar, and black pepper. Add a couple of tablespoons of oil to make a paste. Add the nuts to the mixture and stir well.
Step 3
Line the baking sheet with parchment paper, spread the nuts in an even layer, return to the oven, and roast until golden brown for another 10 minutes, stirring a couple of times. If desired, salt the nuts and let them cool before serving.
