Spiced jelly with blackberries and grapes
Ingredients
- Boiling water 0 qt
- Serviceberries 1 cup
- Merlot Grapes 1 cup
- Ground clove to taste
- Cardamom to taste
- Grated Ginger Root to taste
- Ground coriander to taste
- Ground Cinnamon to taste
- Granulated sugar to taste
- Mint 1 sprig
- Gelatin 3 tablespoons
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Wash the blackberries and let them drain.
Step 2
Wash the grapes and dry them.
Step 3
Separate the grapes from the bunch and cut them in half. Remove the seeds.
Step 4
Place cloves, coriander, ginger, cardamom, and cinnamon in a pot.
Step 5
Add water and berries to the spices. Cook the compote for 30 minutes.
Step 6
Pour gelatin into a bowl.
Step 7
Cool the compote to 185°F and strain, separating the liquid from the berries.
Step 8
Mix a small amount of the compote liquid with the gelatin until fully dissolved.
Step 9
Through a sieve, pour the dissolved gelatin into the remaining compote liquid and mix thoroughly. Add sugar to taste.
Step 10
In small bowls, place the berries at the bottom, then pour the gelatin liquid on top, and refrigerate to set. Garnish with berries and mint when serving.
