Ingredients
- Green Apples 10 pieces
- Brown Sugar 1 cup
- Apple juice with pulp 5 fl oz
- Ground Cinnamon ¼ teaspoon
- Ground Nutmeg ¼ teaspoon
- Ground clove ¼ teaspoon
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Peel the apples and remove the cores, then cut them into small wedges.
Step 2
Transfer to a pot and add the sugar, apple juice, cinnamon, nutmeg, and cloves. Bring to a boil, reduce the heat, and cook until the apples are soft and most of the liquid has evaporated, and the sauce thickens and darkens slightly.
Step 3
Remove from heat, let cool slightly, and mash to a puree. Chill.
