- Pork Blood 15 oz
- Sauerkraut 5 oz
- Salt to taste
- Ground Black Pepper to taste
- Onion 1 head

- Pork fat 0 oz
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Soak the beans for several hours.
Step 2
Rinse the pork, cover with cold water, and bring to a boil. Skim the broth, add the beans, bay leaf, salt, and pepper, and cook for 3 hours.
Step 3
Squeeze the sauerkraut and add it to the broth.
Step 4
Chop the onion and sauté it in melted pork fat. Add to the soup. Cook until ready.
Step 5
Sprinkle the finished soup with chopped herbs.
