Sour Cream Shortbread Cookies
Ingredients
- Wheat Flour 3 cups
- Sugar 1 cup
- Butter 5 oz
- Farm fresh eggs 3 pieces
- Sour Cream 3 tablespoons
- Jam to taste
- Activated Baking Soda a pinch
- Vanillin to taste
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Add eggs, sugar, butter, baking soda, sour cream, and vanillin to the flour and mix until a homogeneous mass is formed. The dough should resemble very thick sour cream.
Step 2
Place parchment paper on a baking sheet (or simply grease it) and spread the dough. Put it in a preheated oven and bake for 30 minutes.
Step 3
Then remove the dish from the oven and cut it into small pieces with a knife to resemble cookies. Spread blueberry jam on top or place cherries with sugar (depending on the cook's preference).
