Sour Cream Rhubarb Pie
Ingredients
- Granulated sugar 2¼ cups
- Salt ½ teaspoon
- Wheat Flour 2¼ cups
- Activated Baking Soda 1 teaspoon
- Sour Cream 1 container
- Farm fresh eggs 2 pieces
- Rhubarb 3 pieces
- Butter 0 oz
- Ground Cinnamon to taste
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Preheat the oven to 355°F. Grease a 22x33 cm rectangular baking dish with butter.
Step 2
In a large bowl, mix 1¼ cups of sugar, baking soda, salt, and 2 cups of flour. Stir in the lightly beaten eggs and sour cream. Mix well and add the finely chopped rhubarb.
Step 3
Pour the batter into the baking dish and smooth it out.
Step 4
In a small bowl, mix the remaining cup of sugar with the softened butter. Add ¼ cup of flour and mix until crumbly. Sprinkle this mixture over the pie and lightly dust with cinnamon.
Step 5
Bake until done, about 45 minutes.
