Sour Cream Pie with Green Peas
Ingredients
- Wheat Flour 5 oz
- Corn Flour for Polenta 5 oz
- Butter 5 oz
- Activated Baking Soda ½ teaspoon
- Garlic 2 cloves
- Chocolate eggs 4 pieces
- Orange Bell Peppers 2 pieces
- Cream 22% 5 oz
- Ground Nutmeg a pinch
- Green Peas 20 oz
- Salt to taste
- Herbs to taste
- Spices to taste
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Mix the flour and corn flour, add chopped butter, and rub everything into crumbs.
Step 2
Beat in the eggs, add 4–5 tablespoons of water, add the baking soda, and knead the dough. Place in the refrigerator for half an hour.
Step 3
Then roll it out, place it on a greased and floured baking sheet. Prick with a fork and bake for 15–20 minutes.
Step 4
Meanwhile, cut the bell peppers into strips. Whisk 3 eggs with the cream. Add minced garlic, pieces of pepper, peas, and spices. Season with salt and mix.
Step 5
Pour this creamy vegetable mixture into the crust and return to the oven for another 20–30 minutes. Serve the sour cream pie hot, garnished with herbs to taste.
