Sour Cream Jelly with Pomegranate

Ingredients

  • Sour Cream 10 oz
  • Water 15 fl oz
  • Sugar 1 cup
  • Gelatin 0 oz
  • Black Pomegranate Molasses 1 piece

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

Soak the gelatin in 400 ml of hot water. Check the proportions for 400 ml on the package.

Step 2

If the gelatin does not dissolve completely, strain it through cheesecloth.

Step 3

Next, add sugar to the water and stir until fully dissolved. Allow to cool to room temperature.

Step 4

Then, add sour cream to the resulting solution and mix well.

Step 5

Place a layer of pomegranate seeds at the bottom of a jelly mold (it will look nice if you use a clear mold, such as glasses) and pour the jelly mixture over it. Refrigerate for 2 hours to set. Then add more pomegranate seeds to distribute them throughout the jelly. Refrigerate again (preferably overnight).

Step 6

After that, sprinkle the cooled dessert with pomegranate seeds.
