Sour Cream Jelly with Berries and Nuts

Ingredients

  • Sour Cream 10 oz
  • Water 15 fl oz
  • Sugar 1 cup
  • Gelatin 1 packet
  • Nuts to taste
  • Fresh Berries to taste

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

Soak the gelatin in 400 ml of hot water. If the gelatin does not dissolve completely, strain it through cheesecloth.

Step 2

Add sugar to the water with gelatin, stirring until fully dissolved. Allow to cool to room temperature.

Step 3

Add sour cream to the resulting mixture and stir well.

Step 4

Place a layer of nuts or berries at the bottom of the jelly mold. Pour the mixture over them.

Step 5

Refrigerate for 2 hours to set. Then add more nuts or berries to distribute them throughout the jelly. Refrigerate again (preferably overnight).
