Sour Cream Cocoa Pie
Ingredients
- Sugar 5 oz
- Farm fresh eggs 2 pieces
- Sour Cream 1 can
- Margarine 5 oz
- Activated Baking Soda a pinch
- Wheat Flour 5 oz
- Cocoa Powder 3 tablespoons
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
In a deep bowl, beat the eggs. Gradually mix in the sugar and beat a little more.
Step 2
In a separate bowl, pour in the can of sour cream, then gradually mix in the flour. Add the softened margarine and mix well. Beat until a homogeneous mass forms. Then add the baking soda and mix.
Step 3
Combine the two mixtures in one large bowl. Divide the dough in half and add the cocoa powder to one half, mixing well until a uniform color is achieved.
Step 4
Take a baking dish, grease the sides and bottom with oil. Pour the dough into the dish alternately from the two different bowls — with the dark and light dough.
Step 5
Preheat the oven to 390°F, place the dish inside, and bake until done.
