Sour Cream Cake with Cream Cheese Frosting

Ingredients

  • 20% Sour Cream 5 oz
  • Wheat Flour 5 oz
  • Cocoa Powder 0 oz
  • Chocolate eggs 2 pieces
  • Coconut flakes 0 oz
  • Muesli 0 oz
  • Brown Sugar 5 oz
  • Strawberry 0 oz
  • Natural Yogurt 10 oz
  • Liquid dark chocolate 0 oz
  • Ricotta cheese 5 oz
  • Rum 1 tablespoon
  • Baking Powder 2 teaspoons
  • Orange zest to taste

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

Sift the flour, cocoa powder, and baking powder. Add half of the prepared muesli to the mixture.

Step 2

Beat the eggs with sugar until a thick foam forms.

Step 3

Gradually add parts of the eggs and sour cream to the flour, stirring slowly and thoroughly. Ensure the cocoa is evenly distributed throughout the flour. Add the orange zest and mix well again.

Step 4

Add the rum and bake in the oven for 25 minutes at 220 °C.

Step 5

While the base is baking, prepare two types of layers. Divide the yogurt into two equal parts. In one part, add strawberries and blend thoroughly, and in the other, add the remaining muesli.

Step 6

Prepare the cream. Take the ricotta and mash it with a fork until it becomes a paste-like consistency. Add a spoonful of the strawberry yogurt and the butter. Mix the mixture until it reaches a creamy consistency.

Step 7

Once the cake layer is ready, cut it into 4 parts. Create layers with the prepared yogurt. Top with cream using a piping bag.

Step 8

Melt the chocolate in a water bath and drizzle it over the piece of cake. Place in the refrigerator for 1-2 hours.

Step 9

Before serving, you can decorate with cookies or fresh berries.

Step 10

Enjoy your meal!
